    Hi,

I just wanted you guys to know that your site definitely helped me pass my labs. I passed back in August.

I referred a number of my friends to your site too. In all about four of us passed. It was hard work I must say but
the site was invaluable in helping to check and validate stuff we were doing in our own labs.

Again, many thanks for your efforts and best wishes for the future.

    Regards,

    Michael

I’m not studying for any cisco exams but I am responsible for supporting the cisco network and phone system at work. I appreciate the sharing of information on your site. I’ve been able to apply some of what I read about in order to make our production system better or at the very least it got the wheels turning and pointed me in the right direction to figure out how to get something to work. Just wanted to say thanks for excellent site.

    Hi,

I have a voice experience for 1.5 years with IPCC,CUCM,Unity and some gateway configuration/setup.
However it is pretty much partial experience only without much text book reading.

I am thinking to take Voice CCIE exam but don’t know where to start from. I know I need to pass written exam but what is the most efficient way to prepare it?

    Any comments would be appreciated!!!

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue with MOH of a CCM 4.3, the audio files were converted successfuly. i put the moh server up, added the audio files unicastly speaking. set them on the phones. the only thing i hear is tone on hold and sometimes silence and sometimes the network goes down saying CM is down, features not enable.

i tried everything humanily possible, changed the service parameters from 1 to any other. set the ip instead of the server name. changed the default audio for 1 to a music. restarted the service plenty of time.i went to cisco webpage they say to change Send H225 User Info Message parameter to User Info for Call Progress Tone.
    that has not worked.

I tried to change the codecs and restart the service but it has not worked yet.

It’s a Lab environment inside a VMWARE. There’s only one publisher(One CCM) version is 4.3 , the phones inside that region are using g711. The MOH is using g711. I have added mp3 files to the audio sources, they did the conversion successfully. They’re 3 to 8Mb fies. I added them to the phone where it says audio source and network audio source.

i also tried t create a Media Group, i added all services to it and applied to the phone but that did not work too

changed the device pool to either default or the one i created.

is there any step that changes from implementing MOH on a ccm 4.1 to a 4.3 ?

if anyone can help me i;d really appreciated.
