Unity – Identified Subscriber Messaging

Posted: April 19, 2006 by cciestudy in Unity

ISM is the feature that identifies a caller as a subscriber and plays the internal greeting. Also when a subscriber is listening to a message, it will play the recorded name of the caller.

In the System > Configurations > Identified Subscriber Messaging > Subscribers are identified as message senders only if they login, is set then subscribers will need to login and send a message for the ISM to work. If they call the phone directly and get forwarded to voicemail, ISM will not work.
