To integrate a call manager with cme create a non gatekeeper controlled trunk to cme. And then make route patterns based on the dial plan in the cme. while you creating route patterns to cme make sure that u point to this created trunk. From CME u need only appropriate dial peers which are pointing to call manager. Now both the integration is done…..

I tried the translation rule it works with SRST mode but it also works on regular mode too. which I want it to work only on SRST mode. I tried to apply the trasnaltion rule under the call-manager-fallback but it did not execute it I must be missing some other lines there.

Sorry for lateness as I just ecame a member of this site today.
In order to configure that you need to do the following on CME router
under loop interface
ip add 172.26.3.3 255.255.255.0
h323-gateway voip interface
h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr 172.26.3.3
h323-gateway voip h323-id CME-R3
h323-gateway voip id SiteC ipaddr 172.26.1.1/gatekeeper ipaddress
h323-gateway voip tech-prefix 1#
R3(config)# gateway
then on gatekeeper router at the Call Manager site you need
gatekeeper configuration
R1(config-gk)# …..
Then on Call Manager you need to configure gatekeeper controlled trunk and also gatekeeper so both of your CME and CCM will register at the gatekeeper and you will be able to make the calls in between

We have 50 numbers designated for Parked Calls, however we only use 2, due to the fact that when one parked call number releases, it re-uses it. We are having a problem when the caller on a parked call hangs up, and another call comes in, it chooses the same number. People are picking up the wrong calls.
How can we make the system continue to use all 50 numbers and start over again, rather than re-use a number once it is released?

So i have a question,I need to create an unity user account to allow our service desk to modify only some parts of configuration (for exaple change user voicemail password).
I tryed to create an account and there are some category of permission to assign to the new user, i tryed with ServiceDesk account type but it can access to more kinds of option and type modification and i don’t want.
My question is…there is an implementation that permit to customize in detail the permit access of this kind of user?

Yet again, I find your site to be one of the few that consistently boils down everything that is Cisco UCE to simple language.
In this case, it was an old 2006 post about Time-of-Day-Routing. I understood the concepts and have found much more detailed posts than yours including examples etc. But, just never saw the forest through all the trees.
But, your six step walk-through explained it so simply (I thought too simply to work for me) that I was able get it working first time through. (after reading you that is)
Also, to this day, we still use a modified version of the UCCX Wallboard (that you modified and explained so brilliantly) you have in here.
You guys should really flesh this out from a simple blog to a full fledged training site. YouTube videos would be a god send.

These labs sound dodgy to me and anyone who promises this sort of material is both lying and cheating at the same time.
Anyone who tries to take the easy road to CCIE is not worth it anyway!
Those scenarios wont help in passing ccie.

I currenty have 2 3550 PWR-24 switches.
One has the SMI image and the other has the EMI image and would like to have them both as EMI.
I would appreciate some assistance to accomplish this correctly as I have heard that it can be tricky.
Some step by steps with details would be very much appreciated.
I understand that the switch with the EMI image can be copy to TFTP server, but then ?

How do I do a search on this site?
We have 50 numbers designated for Parked Calls, however we only use 2, due to the fact that when one parked call number releases, it re-uses it. We are having a problem when the caller on a parked call hangs up, and another call comes in, it chooses the same number. People are picking up the wrong calls.
How can we make the system continue to use all 50 numbers and start over again, rather than re-use a number once it is released?

So i have a question,I need to create an unity user account to allow our service desk to modify only some parts of configuration (for exaple change user voicemail password).
I tryed to create an account and there are some category of permission to assign to the new user, i tryed with ServiceDesk account type but it can access to more kinds of option and type modification and i don’t want.
My question is…there is an implementation that permit to customize in detail the permit access of this kind of user?

Yet again, I find your site to be one of the few that consistently boils down everything that is Cisco UCE to simple language.
In this case, it was an old 2006 post about Time-of-Day-Routing. I understood the concepts and have found much more detailed posts than yours including examples etc. But, just never saw the forest through all the trees.
But, your six step walk-through explained it so simply (I thought too simply to work for me) that I was able get it working first time through. (after reading you that is)
Also, to this day, we still use a modified version of the UCCX Wallboard (that you modified and explained so brilliantly) you have in here.
You guys should really flesh this out from a simple blog to a full fledged training site. YouTube videos would be a god send.
But, I am happy with what I get.
